MegaBlogger Fark Sells Links
Fark, "one of the most popular and influential blogs on the Net" has apparently gotten nabbed selling link placement on its blogspace. Blog founder, Drew Curtis brushed-off the charge attributing the mix-up to an overzealous salesmen who has since been fired. However "when pressed on the issue, Curtis refused to deny that Fark accepts payment for placement of links. He did not respond to requests for clarification from Wired News."
Of course, bloggers garner ad revenues from banner ad placement but charging for link placement within the content field is highly misleading and unethical. [Geez..ya mean some guys make money doing this? ed.]
