Blacks Should Re-Examine Bush's Record
"We've got a president that's prepared to take us back to the days of Jim Crow segregation and dominance," NAACP President Kweisi Mfume
"idea of equal rights is the American flag and Confederate swastika flying side by side," NAACP Chairman Julian Bond.
The racist, devisive and irresponsible rhetoric that spews from the mouths of the NAACP leadership is in direct contradiction to the facts regarding Bush's record on issues that affect African Americans. Given the facts, one can only surmise that the NAACP is either so partisan that they should probably lose their tax exempt status--or they are simply ignorant. As it is in their interest, Blacks should pause for a moment, rise up from worshipping at the alter of "the First Black President", and do a little soul-searching. Charles Sahm, writing in the City-Journal, cites the President's extensive accomplishments on issues that affect blacks at home and abroad. Bush makes Slick-Willy look like a slacker by comparison [>]
